Sunland Asphalt & Construction, Inc.
About the Project
Transforming an approximately 23,000 square foot, typical 1980’s office building via a complete interior demolition and renovation, KT Tamm Studio has created a dynamic and modernized corporate headquarters, in keeping the owner’s vision of a “refined industrial” esthetic. KT Tamm Inc Studio has had the pleasure of working with the team from the earliest stages of space planning and programming in September of 2017. Our Studio played an integral part in the total design of the interiors, starting from the floor, continuing up to the ceiling features and everything in-between. Technical design and selection of plumbing, lighting, AV, and mechanical, including coordination with all team consultants resulted in a cohesive and complete corporate setting for over 80 employees.

About the Project
KT Tamm Inc Design Studio has had a great opportunity to work on this unique mid-century building still occupied by it’s original owners. The building had undergone several additions and reconfigurations over the course of it’s history. At the time our studio became involved, they expressed the desire to add employees and storage while modernizing their space. The 3000 square foot area of improvement went from a largely unused patio area and compartmentalized private office setting, to an open concept office with executive areas, conference rooms, and accessory spaces such as a new Break Room and high density central storage. We worked diligently with the team to re-utilize portions of the original building footprint, saving cost, and celebrating it’s original architectural character. Completed project photography is pending art installation. KT Tamm Design Studio is currently finalizing the contract for Phase II.
